Teisha Wymore REALTOR
Hello and Thank you for checking in! I am thrilled to be at home here in North Carolina, after a wayward journey that brought me full-circle back to my roots in the Triangle, and to becoming a Realtor.®
What did I learn along the way? Experience is the spice of life! Much of my youth was spent living in a thriving small town, Austin Texas; (in the 1980s-it was a small town) and there I saw what a housing boom was first hand as Austin grew and became more of a city. I moved to San Francisco for College, and landed a job at one of the biggest consulting firms on the planet. it was there that I honed my interest in architecture and the fine art of moving every few months as a consultant in all parts of the country and even overseas. As a young person, that exposure to different environments and living in all kinds of places shaped me in so many ways. I have zero regrets - and talk about experiences! I have lived a very full life and then some! - Still, I didn’t feel fulfilled in life. - After about a decade of the corporate world, I came to North Carolina to attend Graduate school and never looked back. I had found home!
What does that mean for my clients? Well, I bring a wealth of community engagement experience to my work. That translates into interpersonal relationships. My favorite thing about being in the Real Estate business is taking part in the lives of people who are making a big change in their lives. I am honored to help them open the door to the next chapter, and THAT, that is what motivates me get up and out of bed every day!
I fell in love with Durham, and bought an old bungalow in the Downtown, Cleveland Holloway neighborhood. [I have also lived in Raleigh, Cary, and Holly Springs] When i’m not working, you can usually find me out exploring homes and farms, running on an old country trail with my dogs, or working in my garden. [the best workouts are ones that show you instant results, like planting a flower bed!] I have a big soft heart for animals of all kinds, and if you know me, you have probably heard a story or two about my goats, and chickens and geese and the time I had an Iguana, or my horses, or my parrot, or our 3-legged dog, and on and on and on!
